Un-instrusive Pop Up Street Furniture of the Netherlands
Street art and furniture in public places tends to be the last thing on the minds of public planners. Many artists have been branching out into more creative and innovative ways of putting inviting and interesting designs for the general public. Carmela Bogman and Rogier Martin of The Netherlands have come up with an interactive design for the people.
By utilizing a hydraulic system, users can determine which pieces to bring up and determine their own seated or standing heights to set the modular blocks at. There are three retractable pieces that come up to function as a lounge area, eating spot or meeting place – or just lower them all down to be flush with the cement to keep the flow of traffic moving.

Cards for Valentine’s Day by Hubbawelcome
Hoxton-based art collective Hubbawelcome have taken their off-the-wall brand of humour from street art to the shelves of Scribbler stores, with their limited run of “I love you so much” Valentine’s Day greeting cards.
The cards are available at Scribbler stores across the UK from February.

TED Talk: Candy Chang – Before I die I want to…
In her New Orleans neighborhood, artist and TED Fellow Candy Chang turned an abandoned house into a giant chalkboard asking a fill-in-the-blank question: “Before I die I want to ___.” Her neighbors’ answers – surprising, poignant, funny – became an unexpected mirror for the community.
I really like this talk. Her concept is wonderful. She speaks calm and clearly. And she moves me through showing her own emotions.
Very close to where I live, there’s been put up a “Before I die” mural too. Unfortunately the Danes haven’t been as good at using it though.

Street Art by Sao Paulo-based SÃO and Delafuente
The 6emeia project, as all these pieces are a part of, is created and developed by the artists Anderson Augusto, also known as SÃO, and Leonardo Delafuente, also known as Delafuente. The duo live in the Barra Funda neighborhood of São Paulo, where they began the project with the purpose of changing and transforming daily life.
The duo’s objective is to modify the means within which we all live, proposing a new way to view things by reflecting upon themes generated through creative and unusual works. Such modifications are made by painting storm drains, light posts, manhole covers and any other object which makes up the urban scenario.

Street Artist Invader made a true Space Invasion
Recently I showed you, how street artist Invader took over the ocean with his street art – or sea art you might all it – along with sculptor Jason Taylor deCaires.
Around the same time Invader also invaded space – with these air-born tiles set out of Miami, US. We might call this space art then
