TED Talk: Rob Legato – The art of creating awe

Man, do I ever forget to thank people like Rob Legato enough. When I watch a movie, I might get super impressed. I might comment the awesome photography. Or I might even wonder: “Who did they do that?”. But I rarely think of how much work and how much effort so many people actually put into, even just the few seconds, that I just saw. So thank you! Big time thank you to people like Rob Legato!
Rob Legato creates movie effects so good they (sometimes) trump the real thing. In this warm and funny talk, he shares his vision for enhancing reality on-screen in movies like Apollo 13, Titanic and Hugo.
