Chicago Children’s Museum: Toy store
The number 1 gift during the holidays in the US are video games. This made Chicago children’s museum think: can kids still see the fun of something free which requires no instruction? It’s more of a simple test to see if kids still can use their imagination.

A Toy Train in Space

You might have seen this kind of ‘stunt’ before. But this time, the boy adds a cute layer to the idea.
On Aug 24th 2012 Ron Fugelseth and his 4-year-old son sent the son’s favorite train “Stanley” to space in a weather balloon with a HD camera and an old cell phone for GPS. He was recovered 27 miles away in a corn field.
Ron Fugelseth explains: “My 4-year-old and Stanley are inseparable like Calvin and Hobbes. He’s been attached to him since he was two, and they play, sleep and do everything together. I animated Stanley’s face with After Effects and Photoshop to bring him to life how I imagine my son sees him.”
Watch another cute video Ron made when his son was 2.

Press Here by Herve Tullet

It’s not magic. It’s the power of your imagination.
This is the first time I’ve ever posted a book trailer. But I really really like this one! Great thinking. Great concept!
The book Press Here is by the French artist Herve Tullet.
