‘Cirrus’, A Trippy New Video for Bonobo – directed by Cyriak

This is the new video for the song Cirrus by Uk musician, Bonobo. The video is directed by Brighton-ish based director Cyriak, who’s known for his somewhat mind-bending videos. The video for Cirrus is no different. What starts out as a few simple repeating elements soon becomes a chaotic collage of video snippets that take on a life of their own. He says that he uses Photoshop and After Effects for most of his animations.
A Toy Train in Space

You might have seen this kind of ‘stunt’ before. But this time, the boy adds a cute layer to the idea.
On Aug 24th 2012 Ron Fugelseth and his 4-year-old son sent the son’s favorite train “Stanley” to space in a weather balloon with a HD camera and an old cell phone for GPS. He was recovered 27 miles away in a corn field.
Ron Fugelseth explains: “My 4-year-old and Stanley are inseparable like Calvin and Hobbes. He’s been attached to him since he was two, and they play, sleep and do everything together. I animated Stanley’s face with After Effects and Photoshop to bring him to life how I imagine my son sees him.”
Watch another cute video Ron made when his son was 2.
