The unique hotel has five rooms which are redone annually by a different artist. In essence, they invite artists, graphic designers and painters into their rooms to create amazing and distinct atmospheres.

My reaction to this comment, other than to laugh at his distraught expression, was a decision to reconsider the rocking chair form with a modern feel, after all, young people like moving about on their chairs probably more than old people.”

“Streeeeeet Bench” is created by Eindhoven-based designers Vincent Wittenberg and Guy Königstein.
These guys have developed a series of alternative street infrastructure for common urban spaces. The street usually refers to the pavements, roads and traffic islands – areas which have the potential to offer new design opportunities. Following this perception, one can initiate collaborative and participative urban processes, from which both the municipality and the residents profit, eventually creating a more interesting and vivid street.
