Wooden QR Code Stool

What happens when a 2D QR-code is transformed into a 3D structure? This is the question that German designer Elena Belmann asked herself before she created this wooden QR stool. Then she pondered “Would this change its information content?” only one way to find out!  She created a wood sculpture that is part architectural form and part scannable data. This wooden structure is also a lamp.
