Other Lives – Tamer Animals

My dear friend Kristian presented me to American Other Lives the other day. I’m completely blown away with this song called Tamer Animals, which is always the album title.

Then I found out, that Other Lives opened up for Bon Iver on their U.S. Tour – and I almost died! Coz’ I look at my tickets for the Bon Iver Copenhagen concert every day on my fridge. And I look sooo much forward. So a night with both bands; my God!!

Unfortunately it doesn’t seem like Other Lives joins Bon Iver for their Europe Tour. I guess I’ll have to find Other Lives somewhere else.

Here they are on iTunes at least!!

Thank you so much, Kristian!

Knitted Masks by Italian Aldo Lanzini

The Italian artist Aldo Lanzini created these super cool and crazy knitted masks.

“Definitions are always quite liquid. I use my needle as if I were a sculptor. I move instinctively and I don’t think about the design of my work: I create straight away”, he says.

Monte A. Smith started working with “knitfitti” in late 2005. She also works with more traditional street art media such as stencils, stickers and posters.
