AKB 48 And The New (Robot) Member

They just do it differently in Japan! The candy brand Ezaki Glico used the Japanese theater group and girl band AKB 48 in their commercial. And then they introduced a new member of the group. Aimi Eguchi, they called her, and she became a huge success overnight.
What they didn’t tell straight away though was the fact, that Aimi Eguchi is really a robot. She’s created directly from all the other band members!
Check out the commercial – and then check out the ‘Making of’.

s_11 by Benjamin Sichert

Super beautiful footage – created by Benjamin Sichert.
“The footage from the factory is from the oldest motor plant in the world. It was founded in 1864 by Eugen Langen and August Otto. Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach worked here from 1876 in a management position. Here is the origin of the motorized world. Now the building should be demolished to create space for a new cable factory…
The video sequences are taken with a canon 5D MK II which I have borrowed for two days. Too short to become familiar with this amazing camera”, Benjamin says.
Thank you showing this to me, Søren.
